how are endangered animals changed from the 20th century to the 21st?

i know that the endangered species act came to help but thats all i know

1. i know that people are waaay more aware these days and try to promote saving endangered species more than they used to. so yeah and people donate money and things to help sooo. and dont they have like breeders that make the animals have babies? and i know they have separate places where people cant hunt for them i think theyre called reservations i dont know too much about the whole thing though. sorry :)
