The US Government is still trying to slaughter all the wild horses. Why?

Do we really need that much dog food? Or is this just to get back at the indians?

1. The government seems to like to slaughter all it can.
2. horses are only good for dog food and glue
3. What about the people they have slaughtered?

Well...the Spaniards brought them over so it has nothing to do with Indians...but just like deer U have to cull the herd from time to time.. makes me sick cause I love horses, but they can and do over populate an area and eventually will eat all the supplies up and then the whole population is in jeopardy!
