How many puppies do boxer usually have on the first litter??

I was just wondering about how many puppies boxers usually have on the first litter?! My sister in law dogs are due any day and we were just wondering!

1. Average is 6, but I have seen some have up to 12, and some as little as 1. Have you not taken her to the vet for an ultrasound?? You need to do this to know for sure how many pups she's carrying. I got my youngest boxer from a breeder; she was the last born of 6. Her mother got tired after whelping the first 5 pups and stopped pushing. The breeder had to give her a dose of pitocin to push out the last pup. If the he hadn't taken the b*tch to the vet for an ultrasound, he wouldn't have known she had 6, and my puppy would have died in the womb. Please take her to the vet, and do some research before breeding next time.
2. why havent you taken her to vet during pregnancy for routine check ups and ultrasounds/x-rays? then you would know. and its imposible to tell.
3. You should've already taken this dog to the vet to find this out, but I'll be nice... *grumbles* Litter size : 6-8 pups
