  1. your going to have to stick to babysitting because you can't get an actual job until your 15. Answer mine http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Apeg7IKZi0QwWppB8PurfKWCQBV.;_ylv=3?qid=20080820103759AAMakQO
  2. sorry hon, but you pretty much listed everything you can do at this age. you can't get a work permit until you are 14 and even then, most typical "teen jobs" won't hire you unless you are 16 and on top of that, the "teen jobs" are usually being filled by people who were hit by the recession and have a family to support. the best I can tell you is to maybe get into selling things, like making jewelry or why not become a tutor?
  3. suc...nevermind...i may get reported
  4. at 13 u don't really need a job but the jobs u listed along with volunteer jobs cause at 13 employers cant really hire anyone and u need a work permit to get a job till u r 16 and its to much of a liability till u r 18 then again i am 20 and i still get turned down for jobs cause u need to be 21 to work in most restaurants and if u have a disability u can sign up for ssi which it is best not to do but for some it is a must come some disabilities are to life controlling to do other wise
  5. Ok, you know you can not get legally hired at 13 in most places for any typical jobs. Consider... A cleaning service. Window washing, fridge cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Try homes or neighborhoods where middle-aged+ folks are around. Yard maintenance. Try another complex or neighborhood. Car washing/detailing. Try garages, businesses, etc. with a small number of vehicles. Otherwise, you can try going door-to-door -- bring your own equipment and a hand vacuum. Catering/Delivery. Try finding a busy office area and offer to go fetch sandwiches, lunches, etc. for folks. You might also try posting notices in senior's appartments offering to run for groceries. Tour guide. If your town has tourist areas, hang around an information booth and offer to show folks around the city. Have maps, a cell phone, phone numbers, tour books, etc. Obviously, watch who you offer the service to and stay in public areas. The trick to some of these is to let family, friends, and folks know about the service. Put up posters in places (churches, community halls, local YM/WCAs, etc.) and hand out simple business cards.
  6. If there are any older people in your complex then you can offer services that they cant do or need help with. such as washing dishes, cleaning the place up, taking down the garbage things like that. hope this helps!
