What types of dogs shed the least or not at all (small to mid size)?
Looking for one that would travel well to keep us company in a Motor Home. Thanks for the response.

- dogs with curly hair like a poodle shed less.
- poodle, shizu, bichon frise
- POODLE....and no dander.
- Miniature schnauzer..... very smart. No shedding great companion
- Naked ones!!
- get a yorkie
- ive got a spaniel who doesnt shed
- The dogs that shed the least are the ones you have to shave. Poodles, schnauzers etc
- My mother has a pet dander allergy, so we always grew up with toy and minature poodles. they dont shed at all and are very social, like kids ours were.
- most poodle breeds or dogs that are part poodle dont shed
- hi Poodle, maltese, bichon frise, shih tzu, havanese, and my french bulldog sheds but nothing like other dogs. LaMMY
- All dogs shed, but my Shi-tzu shed's significantly less than any dog I've had or came in contact with previously. In my opinion they make great dogs, and travel excelent!! (Mine is the best little traveler=p). She is a bit small for her breed at about 10lbs. I think their average weight is 13-15lbs, so they are still pretty small. I keep her hair short because she is active and it takes Tons of upkeep to keep it long. Shi-tzu's don't require as much daily exercise as many more hyper tempered dogs. I think that would be a very good breed for travel in a Motor Home.
- Yorkshire Terrier- No shedding at all- They love to ride
- poodles, shitzues, long haired dogs...
- We always had miniature dauschaunds (weiner dogs). Long hair or short hair either one don't hardly shed. Plus they are very loving and loyal dogs, and they love to travel!
- When I was young my parents would only let us get a dog that wouldn't shed, and didn't smell...yeah, like that was easy to find, but we found one. Lhasa Apso. They are great dogs and small, kinda like a Pekingese, but they don't have the smashed in face. Look into it. the only draw back is the long hair has to be brushed often or it will mat. We used to shave ours in the summer, just to his head, he looked like a little lion. The hair around the eyes is supposed to be kept long, something to do with their vision. We had him for a very long time and he loved to travel!
- yorkshire terriers dont shed at all.
- Poodles and poodle mixes don't shed; neither does the bichon. All need regular brushing and grooming though.
- Poodle. Not only do they not shed but are very loving. I had one several years ago, and he was not a barker.
- The best dog I would say to get is a Yorkie there small, very smart, do not shed, and love to travel. Not only that they are considered good apartment dogs since they don't need a large space to keep them entertained they would be perfect in a motor home. I own a 2.5 pound Yorkie she goes with me everywhere even to work she is the best and she is not a barker. ;)
- Schnauzers, poodles, fox terriers. I have 3 mini schnauzers, and not a hair have they ever lost. No dander either and we live in a 37ft 5th wheel. Fantastic travelers and love being with their human. Smart and cute as heck.
- miniature pinchers do not shed and are very smart, dont get a poodle theyre ugly and should be punted across the street on site
