Are pugs the best types of dogs ever?
This question is obviously rhetorical, of course the answer is YES.

- hell no they are ugly lol i love dogs but they are messed up looking
- Yes!!! So I get best answer - right?
- NO! My sster has two pugs and they are the most annoying, slobbery hyper disgusting dogs ever! They have completely turned me off of pugs!
- I bet he loves you too!
- well it depends on yer tastes. I love pugs but my top 3 favorites are 1. Border Collie 2. Cocker Spanial 3. Great Pyrenees
- I never had a Pug but I have played with some and there really nice I wouldn't say they are the best type of dog , don't get me wrong they are nice and playful. I hope you have fun with your Pug.
- Sorry... but no. LABS ROCK!
- Nah, my cocker spaniel/dachshund mix was the best dog ever!!!
- yes for me they are but for other people they may be ugly as hell but hey i love them
- I shouldn't even waste my time with this obscene question. What are you, an immature 7 year old? I bet you have never heard of an exotic breed! Pugs are quite ugly, in fact. But that is just my opinion. I prefer Basset Hounds. And they have long ears. Smooch.
- i heard they were called pugapu or something like that, and pug is just short for it, and yes, they are realy cool, my friend has one named yoda.lol oh they snort and snore and make all kinds of funny sounds.
- I love all dogs (and all animals for that matter), but pugs are SUCH fun pets! they're really cute and friendly and have lots of personality. :)
- itg's whatever fills your boat and makes you happy. I can't tell you whats best for you. I know that they are really ugly, but sweet.
- Nope. Well,my opinion. I read this book and I'll summarize one part about Pug Puppies' lives when they try to get to their mother's stomach part thingy. Because of their flat face,it'll be hard for them to breathe and drink the milk, really that's all. And my cousin's neighbors' dog Buddy the Pug is really fat and lazy.
- No-they are too small for me. I like a dog with SUBSTANCE! I like a dog that can do ANYTHING! I love Australian Shepherds! But you have found your favorite breed! Congrats!
- i have a great dane which is the absolute opposite of a pug. however, ive been a groom for 18 years and the pugs that come through my doors are some of my favorite clients. perky with a punched-in face, theyre no giant but ive got to respect their pluck
- Yes. They are so cute.
- I think so myself, but I'm prejudiced. Truthfully, I don't think there is just ONE best breed. A lot of the answer depends on your lifestyle, personality, temperament and taste. If you want a good running buddy, a pug isn't it; if you'd rather crash and watch movies, a pug is perfect. If you want to play fetch outside for hours, get a retriever, not a pug. But yeah, for simple, loving, clownish, charm, a pug is the best ever.
- Well, then you will obviously pick someone that totally agrees with you. I for one recommend several breeds to owners that have never owned a dog or haven't had a lot of dog experience...a Pug is one of those dogs. Therefore, I think Pugs are suitable for a wide variety of people. But there are many breeds I am fond of. We currently own Corgis and a Beagle. The Corgis are my passion but not a dog for everyone.
- nope...my sister has 2 and because of the wrinkles they always smell
- they got the ugliest face no offense to ur ugly dog but get rid of it they can win the worlds ugliest dog REALLY THEY CAN they actually have a show for that lol
- I think people are biased according to what they grew up with. Not in all cases though. I grew up with poodles, and now I have 3 pugs. I did some dog grooming and researched a lot of different breeds in high school (yes, it was an assignment - each different group of dogs every nine weeks. had to do a report on them). I fell in love with pugs then, though I never got one until I hit 25. Now I'm 27 and have 3. Pugs are clowns and are really loving. They're wonderful dogs and one of the top breeds in my book. And if people would learn to keep their wrinkles clean, they wouldn't smell. After all, if you had a lot of wrinkles and never washed them, you'd smell. Pugs just can't wash them themselves, so help your pug out!!
- YOUR THE BEST PUGGY PUPPY IN THE WORLD I LOVE YOU, MISSES SMELLY
