What are the best types of dogs for Florida(usually hot)?

I might be getting a dog soon and i wanted to know what dogs are the best for Florida. And if you want to, please, tell me a dog that also behaves well and is a good athelete. I was gunna get a Husky bcause that is my favorite dog, but we all know that Huskies are only good in snow and cold places. Thanksss:D

That is not true, Huskeys do well in every climate,,,they are in California, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, they are hearty, robust dogs, don't sell them short, they have short hair,and do not melt down...yes they are great in the snow, but also in other climates......try one, you will see its true...
