What are the most expensive types of dogs or animal to purchase?

I mean the expensive to purchase, not to care for. What is the highest price that you can pay for a dog and what breed goes for the most money? Also, what is the most expensive exotic pet or animal???

2. Here are some high price dogs: yorkshires, english bulldogs, most designer dogs, and any other big dog breed.
3. the highest i have ever seen for a dog is 20.000 US dollars it was for a kerry blue terrrier that was already a champion im sure that they go way beyond that but that is just what i have seen also i saw a hyacinth macaw for 30K

5. The most expensive dogs I think are to purchase are the goldenretrevers. But why wouldn't you want to take care of your pet I mean comeon searously and the highest price you'll ever find some person will have there pets to be sold at are around 20$ wich isn't that bad at all.
6. For standard animals, I'd say a top quality show or race horse. These can easily reach a million dollars and go up from there. For dogs, in general the rarer and better bred the breed, the more expensive the dog. For specific dogs, the bloodlines and titles would increase the prices of an animal and its offspring. For exotic animals, the more illegal and dangerous, the more expensive.
7. Cross the top dog with the top b!tch of any breed and the pups will yield a much higher price than two dogs that haven't finished their championships yet. Every breed has breed rankings (based on performance in the conformation ring and other performance events). Contact the parent club to see the current rankings.
8. Probably the most expensive animal is probably a pure bred horse, some of them that are bred from champions can cost more than a million dollars!!

10. I work at a dog kennel and the owners breed Bernese Mountain Dogs. For pets, they sell the dogs at $1,300. For show, they sell the dogs at $1,500. Recently they bought a Bernese Mountain Dog from another breeding and spent over $5,000. I have no idea if that is the average but I definitely thought it's a bit much to spend on a dog.
11. Purebred show quality english bulldogs are pretty expensive, because often times the mother dog has trouble with birth and needs to have vet care. I would love to have one, but I can't afford one.
12. The most expensive dog on average would probably be Bulldogs. They usually start at $1500 for pet quality and go up from there. I have 2, a male and a female both of them from champion bloodlines and paid around $3500 each. That is on the cheaper side too.
