i have 2 pitbull dogs... and both dont have an appetite to eat... what could be wrong with them..?

my pitbulls had colds last month and since then,,, they never had the appetite to eat. They only like bread and crackers. if i feed them dog food, they just smell it and dont eat it.

1. They might think bread and crackers are there food now. You need to start mixing them together and they will start eating the dog food the less crackers and bread you put in the regular dog food
2. dont let them have anything but dog food..when they get hungry enough they'll eat...did you switch foods or anything? also make them work up their appetite before you feed them take them on a long walk or something they'll eat.

4. they might not like the dog food lol... they might have changed something at the factory and the dogs might not like it. Or maybe youve spoiled them with crackers :) hah i would watch them. Try some wet food, if it keeps up i would take them to the vet incase something else is wrong. The cold might have been more than a cold. I would def. stop giving them bread and crackers. If they get nothing, and still dont eat the dog food i would think about having them checked :)
5. Is it particularly hot where you're at? Perhaps they are just tired of the heat? Or are you giving them too many treats? Maybe they are holding out in hopes of something tastier.
6. Bread and Crackers are not the best thing to be feeding them. You should try maybe chicken and white rice, they need that protein. Also I use about 1/4 of a can of wet food mixed with a 1/5 cup of water and mash it all together with dog food. My girls love it and they eat it all up, mostly due to aroma. If they still don't eat call your vet up, they may have something else wrong. Hope it helps! Good Luck!
