What should my new horses show name be?
He is a 16.2hh bay thoroughbred ex-race horse and he's very fast and constantly on his toes. He can be hot headed (typical thoroughbred!). He has a baby face and jumps like a deer!! Can anyone think of anything?? Thanks

- I like Cariann's answer :)
- Kai Nui which means big wave or high tide in Hawaiian. You could also name him Maui after the Hawaiian sun god.
- The Stag Super Stag Hot for the Doe Hot Stag Bambino Ready for the Bambi Go Go bambi Go Bambi Go

- Bambi or Rudolph. I thought theyd be cute.
- All these answers are great! I like Bambi, but you should also consider what sounds good when being introduced into the ring. For example.. "up next is ___ riding Fire" or "Up next is ___ on Fire" (some shows use "riding" and others use "on") what's his non-show name? you could have his normal name in his show name ... like Deer old ___ EnDEERingly Fast ____ Good luck and have fun with it!
- I like that answer loved deer-ly but i have always liked black tie affair and my friends horses show name is double take. love that one too :)
- John deer
- I know that this might not be help but the right name might come to you when the time is right. Sundanser is my advice. I LOVE Horses!!!!!
- Does it have a pedigree? Generally most horses show names are a mixture of their parents show names. For example the Sire is called " (stud name) Twilight Zone" Dam is called "(stud name) Dancing Lady"... The foal could be "(stud name) Dancing Twilight". There doesnt even have to be a stud name infront of it, but generally it sounds better. :)
