Are there any sites for rescues of particular mixed breeds?

My sister wants a black schnoodle. Most of you know me on here, and know my feelings about designer dogs, but her boyfriend has one, and she loves the personality, size, and intelligence. Please, if there is a specific rescue for mixed breeds like this, please let me know. Thanks Ulva, that was exactly what I was looking for! By the way, long time no see! How are you?

You should check petfinder, because I know that in my area there are a couple of shelters that specifically have small breed dogs, like there is a shih tzu rescue in my area, etc. Just put in your zip code and what breed (pick either breed of the mix) and it'll give you places that have dogs (purebreed or mixed) in your area. You might have some luck looking it up that way.
5. try petfinder.org, your local animal shelter, or craigslist... even your local classified ad's!
6. Best bets are PetFinder and PetHarbor. Check both Poodle Rescue and Schnauzer rescue in her area, although with all the so called designer dogs, I don't know how often they are able to rescue mixed breeds dogs. Thanks for thinking Rescue!

8. Just because the boyfriends dog is wonderful, doesn't mean all schnoodles will act the same way. Go to a shelter, find a mixed breed that looks like it has poodle or schnauzer in it. Train it and she will have a dog just as good as the boyfriend.
9. Petfinders or breed specific rescues. there is no guarantee she will draw the same "qualities" of her boyfriends dog as all personalities differ.
