Cross Breeds

can you cross breed a water rat and a cat?

someone i know took a "cat" into their home it killed her little dog. So when she took it to the vet they said it wasnt a cat it was a water rat. Is this possible could they have cross bred and would it be mistaken for a cat?

1. Umm. There are some 'logistical' problems there if you know what I mean. Also they are different species. A rodent and a feline cannot breed- sorry. It does not happen. I don't see how you can mix up a cat and a Rakali (water rat) but oh well. Sorry.
