- Those are all good things for a 13 year old. For anyone, for that matter - if you're lucky enough to find someone willing to pay, and needing the work done. Other than those mentioned...how about a newspaper route?
- um well that list is pretty much all the options a 13 year old can do right now.since you cant get a job yet.
- i dont know if you would ever want to do this but if your parents friends or family is having a party offer to help. You know like help set up clean up ect. i did it and make 150.00
- Here's what my kids do, and they make a TON of money. First, they offered to clean my basement and attic. Instead of having a garage sale, they asked if they could sell anything we didn't want to keep on ebay and split the profits 50-50 with me. I helped them open up PayPal accounts and their own checkbooks at the bank for PayPal to put the money into. We only accept PayPal. They use our digital camera to take good clear pictures of each item. We studied successful sellers (over 90% rating) to learn how they wrote descriptions, shipping terms, warrantys, Buy It Nows, etc. They print out USPS priority mail postage and box each item as soon as it's sold in free USPS boxes which we order from the USPS website. Yes, they made a few mistakes, but they have really sold a lot of things and I have a mostly-clean basement. When they're finished with my basement and attic their grandparents have offered their stuff because they want to downsize to a smaller house. We're a home-school family, and we use this as part of a unit on economics, and computer use.
- id make QUALITY chocolate gift bags, bars, buy sweets and mix them in a cheap container and make sure you charge a 40% mark up on everything you sell. unless your trying to get rid of it then get them off cheaper. you need to work hard and go door to door but just cherry pick the good areas (like i did) i made like £100 a month but it cost me £60 so it turned out £40 profit... wasnt bad for the 90's
- Hmmm...well, I'm 48. Anyhoo, when I was growing up, my parents never gave me an allowence...instead I peddled (by bike) newspapers every morning before school....from 8yrs old til I was 12. Then I babysat for children in the neighborhood from when I was 12 til I was 16 (earning a babysitting seminar certificate at the local volunteer fire dept 1st...) and old enough to get a job on my own. During that time, 1/2 of the money I earned went into the bank, and the other 1/2 was my spending money. I wound up saving enough for my 1st car (used...but it got me around for college and all...). I hope that helps :)
- well gee u don't want to do antthing physical right? how about mow lawns, clean pools clean windows and houses for anyone but your Mom
- how about weeding gardens, or Collecting and selling night crawlers or bait-fish to fishermen., or make crafts and sell them at a local crafts fair. the booths are usually reasonable. or you can breed rats and sell the pinkies to Snake keepers
- u r all outa luck
- Definitely don't mow lawns, unless you using safety sissors, and charge by the hour. Have you considered writing speeches for Dubya? No one would ever know the difference.
