my sims 2 seasons and pets are acting weird?

well i set the neighborhood to all summer and i got into a house and there was snow on the ground but when i go to the furniture mode, the snow is gone. is it like a glitch? when will it go back? and also, the weather channel doesnt say anything about it being chilly or snowy because it is in summer mode. how do i get the snow to go away pets: there is snow on teh ground and i have a dog house outside. i told my 2 dogs to try for puppy and they cant get into the dog house because of the snow, they just bark at the house and walk around the dog house door. i tried clicking them and doing go for walk or play fetch or something but it doesnt work. my sims cant even go near the dogs. how do i fix it? i was thinking about trying to put them up for adoption and then getting them back but i have a feeling that the police officer will not even be able to get the dogs and will just be standing there forever. what should i do?? and how do i get the snow to go away even though all 4 seasons r ^^ even though all 4 seasons r set to summer i dont have snow indoors

1. in buy mode there should be no snow, so thats not a glitch after snowing even with season change it takes time for the snow to melt to disappear im not sure why u have snow indoors, perhaps u dont have a roof? or if u put some outdoors objects like a skating rink on the top level that will also nullify the protection of the roof
2. try blowling in side the game or the game card or try restarting the game
