- NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take her to the vet. Dogs don't catch human colds.
- NO THAT COULD MAKE IT EVEN WORSE! tAKE HER TO THE VET!
- She may have gotten into something since she's vomitting...she needs to go to the vet. I would NOT suggest giving ANY medications to your dog without your vet giving the ok. If you decide to give meds and it's the wrong dose, it could end up killing or seriously harming her.
- No !!! only baby aspirin
- no, about the only human medicine that can be taken by dogs is pepto, but as for a cold take your dog to the vet and get some medicine from them
- No take her to a vet
- Definately take her to the vet or call the vet and see what they suggest. When my lab gets sick we don't feed him for at least 12 hours then give him boiled chicken (or gound beef) and rice. When he throws up alot our vet says that we can give him Pepto Bismo but only a VERY small amount like half of what the normal human dose is. But we ALWAYS call first.
- No! Just call the vet and have them leave medicine at the counter for you to pick up or call the pet store. No human medicine...it could make them even worse. Hope she feels better soon!
- Human medication can NOT be taken. Human meds are created to target the virus' in the HUMAN body system, not that of a canine. It could potentially make her sicker. So, just take your dog to the doctor and get her checked out.
- You need to contact the vet. Some human meds are okay, but others are life threatening to dogs.
- Dogs don't get colds like we humans do. Do NOT self medicate your dog without the advice of a vet.
- The only human medicine you should ever give your dog is baby aspiring, such as chewable children's Motrin, half for small dogs, whole for larger dogs. You should take your dog to the vet if you can afford to.
- Dogs don't get colds. Most medicines are the same dog or human.Over the years I've bought more pet meds from the human pharmacy then the vets office. They are almost always cheaper at the pharmacy so the vet just writes me a prescription and I fill it there. I have done that with thyroid meds, heart meds, and some antibiotics others are cheaper from the vet.I've got steroids at the pharmacy too. The synthroid was about one fifth of the price. You should never just give your dog something human because you have it on hand. You are not capable of diagnosing your dog.You need to bring it to the vet. You should never have any medications left over anyhow animal or people if you are giving them as prescribed there would be no leftovers.
- NO, no human meds without a vets advice. Sick pets need vets. It's that simple.
- Dogs can get a cold. But normally do not vomit. They will get a runny nose and act sleepy. Vomitting is a sign she has gotten into something that doesn't agree with her. If she gets sick more than once or twice contact your vet. Unless your vet tells you to give her human medicine don't give her any kind.
- you can give (dogs only) kaopectate or pepto-bismol the kao is one teaspoon for every10 lbs of weight for the pepto its one teaspoon for every 20 lbs of weight (use a oral syringe ) for they don't like the taste of it
