Is there a new dog movie out?

...that has a Siberian Husky as the star? Why is there, all of a sudden, an enormous interest in the Husky? You all know what I mean, when Snow Dogs came out, Sibes were instantly popular... and sadly, shelters and rescues were soon flooded with them. Same with Air Bud and Goldens, and 101 Dalmatians and Dalmatians. Milo and Otis and Pugs. I'm sure there are more, but you get my point. Have I've bene in the dark too long, or is there some movie that's been in interest and has prompted people to purchase Sibes? I've noticed this in the last month or more. Oh and of course can't forget to thank Paris for her exploitation of poorly bred small dogs. :) Golden Gal, I've been so busy! Seems that I actually had a life after-all!

1. I dont think so! I saw a add for a movie with a ton of Chihuahuas in it. Then again I dont watch Nickelodeon or the Disney channel either! ADD: Nice to see you again! :) LOL Me too! I try to get here as much as possibe but It's getting harder to.

4. I dont exactly know, i dont watch disney or nickelodeon. but I personally have been interested in huskies for the longest time. I love the breed, i have always dreamed of having one, every since i got my first stuffed animal husky at 4 years old. i have been extremely educated and informed on the breed, but i wont get one till i settle down (in 20+ years being 13 and all). I love the husky breed, im really really passionate about them.
5. The newest Spielberg's movie (great family fun) will be about talking Teacup Chickididlidoos.
6. Not that I know of. Its not always a movie, it could also be a TV show, or commercial. I shutter to think of how many people have bought a Westie on impulse just because of that annoying Cesar commerical.
7. I blame the huskies themselves. I mean, if they weren't so darned gorgeous, no one would want them. Right? I was talking with a Malamute owner in the dog park about how people see these gorgeous dogs - on TV, on movies, in the neighborhood - and think they're amazing. Granted, they are. They're just not for everyone. I saw the preview for the Chihuahua movie and felt bad. Poor Chis have been ruined too much lately...
8. Hmm I don't think so but I have noticed much more interest in the breed recently. I hope another movie doesn't come out anytime soon since people will think Siberians are how they where portrayed in the movie. And must have "the dawg with the blu eyes" I feel like watching snow dogs now LOL! Add* I totally didn't see your comment about Paris, LOL! If it wasn't for her maybe people wouldn't own all these "teacup minis"
9. I've been wondering the same thing about German Shorthaired Pointers lately. You wouldn't believe how many GSPs are turning up in shelters near me. And before that I'd thought they were a rare breed! But no, I don't think there's a new Sibe-starring dog movie out.
