Why do dogs love to roll in the snow?

As soon as he's out there with a fresh snow, he rolls around, kicks his little legs and looks like he's having the best time! Why do they do this?

1. Because it is FUN. The same reason kids do it.
2. They do it because it's fun! Don't ya know that dogs are just like kids? Kids LOVE to run around and play in the snow.
3. My chihuahua would freeze! I think that big dogs with heavy coats like to do this to feel fresh? or maybe because they love the snow as much as we do! they're jjust having fun!!!
4. idk it hardly ever snows in Tennessee (well in Northeast Tennessee) anways...the only place it snows here is in the mountains
5. It's so fun to watch dogs play in the snow. My beagle doesn't roll, but he frolics in the really deep parts. So cute!
