dog movie question???

i have a dog movie question... there is this movie i remember... it's about this wolf or half wolf dog that gets hert.and this boy who just moves in on the property where the dog gose takes care of the dog and in the movie the boy puts on a pair of rollerblades and has the dog pull him.and if i remember right the boy wants to put the dog in a dog sled race i think... im trying to find the name of the movie...please help me with my question??? its not balto because its not a cartoon

2. Disney Channel has a movie called "Ruff Life" with the boy that plays Corey Baxter on "Thats So Raven" he finds a dog and has it on a leash while he is on rollerblades. Then Disney has another movie out called "Snow Dogs" where a Dentist inherits some sled dogs and he enters them in a sled race. Maybe you just have a couple of movies mixed together in your mind.
