1. Apparently she's available for personal appearances. The first link below is to that site. There's also a phone number on that site. The second link has gorgeous photos and leaves me with the impression that she's still training dogs. The third link is to a site that was updated a year ago.
2. Susan Butcher went on to raise, train and race for many years. She settled in interior Alaska, married Dave Monson and had 2 kids. The family still lives in the interior, and have an active kennel. Dave is also a racing musher. The family kennel is called Trail Breaker kennels, and is active in the summer tourist industry educating visitor and sharing her love of sled dogs.
