  1. If you just saved him from being destroyed, just keep him as a housepet. He shouldn't be put back into that industry.
  2. Why on earth would you want to put a greyhound who's just been rescued from the track back on another one? How did you get this dog and why do you have him if you want to stick him on another track where he'll either be put to sleep or, if he's very lucky, rescued by one of the many groups who rescue greyhounds? A greyhound who doesn't win is either killed or rescued. If you somehow got this dog, contact a greyhound rescue group and give them to him so he can be given a good home.
  3. You can help him by giving him to a greyhound rescue. If he was slower, he's not a great racer. Let him enjoy life on a couch.
  4. God love you! The best thing you can do for a greyhound is take him far far away from the tracks. The greatest opportunity to give this dog is to find him a great home with a sofa that will be his forever, please do not send him back to a life of abject misery to end up abandoned with his ears hacked off or even worse. Get in touch with a greyhound rescue who will get him rehomed. Can you please tell me where you are and I may be able to help. http://www.greyhoundaction.org.uk/greyhound.html fetch dog do you actually know anything at all about greyhound racing or actually any dogs at all? Your idiotic response is beyond belief and no lots of people have spell check but not many have half a brain and little care for dogs unlike some ie you Dont suppose I will get a response from you - lets face it anyone who supports greyhound racing and what goes on in that INDUSTRY has no care for dogs at all, what is your involvement in it?
  5. so you think that you know more about racing greyhounds then people who make their living doing that? while this might make a good disney movie it does not make much sense... am i the only one with a check spelling button?
  6. Giving him a good home is what will really make him happy! Best of Luck!
  7. greyhounds make brilliant pets. if you can't keep him contact your local greyhound rescue. if i was you i wouldn't get him involved with racing again, its not the nicest life. find a big field and a tennis ball and watch him run for his own pleasure rather than being made to run. if i had a bigger house i'd love to have a greyhound, they're lovely. best of luck x x x
