Time for Famous Horse Who Am I? Lets see if you can get it with only 3 clues!?

My grandsire won the English Triple Crown. I was sold at 2 after I ran six races and lost all. I was suppose to be a rabbit for my highly regarded stablemate during the Kentucky Derby but ended up winning! Good Luck! Please do not make a list of names.

3. Ferdinand Nijinsky was the only horse to win the English Triple Crown in recent years and that was back in 1970. He was also the sire of Ferdinand (not grandsire). Ha ha, I never thought to look back that far. And I drive down Sir Barton Way every day :-)
