Does anyone know the current status of the famous race horse?

who seriously injured his leg in the last race he ran, think his name is Barbaro or something similiar, He was on his way to a Triple Crown title, when he was hurt. Haven`t read of any updates recently. He was magnificant, hope he wasn`t put down.

Sorry, I do not know the answer, but I wanted to share my thoughts - I, too, am dying to know and very sincerely hope he wasn't put down.
if we are talking about the same one they said he is doing much better and getting his will back

You can also type in "Barbaro" in the Google search engine and it will direct you to the Vet Clinic in Pennsylvania where he is at.Every week the vet gives an update on his condition. I read on Friday that he had his cast changed the week before and it looked good. His recovery is still very slow as it takes time to grow his hoof (but it is growing). He still remains in intensive care, but is doing considerably good. He is an amazing horse and I really hope that he recovers completely.
