How do you find info on the lip tattoo of a retired thoroughbred race horse?

1. The Jockey Club Information Services will do Tattoo Research for a fee. The website is http://www.tjcis.com/otherServicesDisplay.asp?section=3
2. The Jocky Club will do tattoo research for you but there is a fee for it. Around $35 I think. If you know the name on your horses papers you can look at www.pedigreequery.com and see if the horse is in the data base. Some are and some are not. You can get info from there for free if they are in the data base. Good luck.
