1. um, you should steer clear from any petstore that sells puppies. go to a golden retriever rescue grouip. you probably wouldn't have too much trouble finding them at just a regular shelter either. please give those dogs a chance. the are in desperate needs of a loving home, and might get their lives ended if they don't. www.petfinder.com

If you are asking what stores sell them, beware of any store that sells dogs - they get them from puppy mills that breed anything at all, usually sickly, ill bred pups in horrible conditions. Adopt one from a breed rescue - that way you know what you are getting and give a homeless dog a home.
3. Yes, stay away from pet stores. They usually come from puppy mills or disreputable breeders. They may come with health problems and terrible personality problems. Look for one at Petfinder.com or a local rescue group. You can even call your local humane societies and ask to be notified if they get any goldens in.
