At what age do golden retriever puppies not need to be caged?

1. You shouldnt keep them in a cage at all.. If you mean crated with thier mother, untill they have all their first shots..
2. If you are referring to crate training, it depends on the puppy. Some learn faster than others, then there are the ones who need the crate for life.
