- I can't help it... I have to stand up for the shelter dogs. Shelter dogs may not have papers, but they'll bring just as much joy to your life....here we go AGAIN.... Imagine you were a mutt sitting in a cold, concrete box alone. You're a pack animal but you have no pack. Now imagine that you can see all these people desperately searching for goldens, poodles, beagles, shepherds, labs, etc. While all the while there you sit. Ready to love, ready to play and obey, go for rides in the car, chase squirrels, and be part of a family. Ready to protect, snuggle, walk beside and love someone. So desperate for a gentle hand to take you home. All you can do is sit, waiting.....because every other person wants something better then you. Something that has a piece of paper that says they're better then you.
- Contact this breed club: http://www.grcgla.org/ And they'll help you locate a reputable breeder.
- go to petfinder.com.....this is a site for rescue groups.....just enter your Zip code, and enter breed wanted, and be AMAZED at how many great choices you have !!.....i recently adopted a Great Pyrenees mix from them, and my dog Sylvester is awesome !!.....check it out....try it.....do a good deed....adopt a Golden Retriever puppy today !!!.....good luck to you, in your search for a Golden retriever puppy as a new pet !!!!.....most adoptions run between $ 50 to $ 200 maximum, for a wonderfull dog, who will be very happy to be your new pet !!!
