How many golden retriever puppies does it take to make a 8-12 foot throw rug?

I currently have six puppies working at the loom. The lack of opposable thumbs seems to be a hindrance. How can I speed up the process? How much pause should I give their paws? I don't want to over work them. Nike? The goddess of victory or the paragon of greed?

Well, with all the unethical, disreputable, irresponsible breeders on this site, you could probably find plenty more worker puppies. Hey, they are AKC, so they must be perfect, right? Edit: I'm cracking up at the people that don't get it. The rug isn't made of puppies. The puppies are working the loom. The puppies are *making* the rug with their little paws. Cracking up, but somewhat scared at the same time at the lack of comprehension of the fun double entendre. : )

Dude.... That's hilarious. In all honesty though, I have no clue. But why does it have to be golden retrievers? Why not chihuahuas? Or dalmations?

If you are talking about young pups, it would take about 60-75. Older pups maybe 45. Their skin shrinks a bit after it's dry plus you can't use all the fur.

After your brain surgery we will give you the answer to your question. As a matter of fact, after the surgery your entire medical team...including Psychiatrist, Psychologists, and others will have some questions you'll have to answer before they can release you back to: Never Never Land. In the mean time don't loose any sleep over your missing pups....the humane society was able to enter your home with a sheriffs escort...the pups have all been adopted by some sane families who live in your home town. The pups left you a thank -you on your bed...it's a pile of s-h-i-t.....sweet dreams.
hmmm..To make a rugg....probably about 20- 30 puppies i mean like it would get it done a lot faster if they all had more help. Maybe less number of pups though, WEll good luck P.S. i find it really hilarious that people think you are making the rug out of puppy fur :D. Dont these people every read anything? ;)
