  1. the mothers milk should be enough they should not need milk in a bottle unless they are not thriving and the mother does not have enough milk
  2. Let the mom keep feeding her pups she will know when to wean the off, normally it takes about 8 weeks. Then you give the puppies a good quality PUPPY food.
  3. No you should not be bottle feeding them unless the mom is not producing enought milk to feed them. You can start putting down moistned puppy food at about 5 weeks for them to nibble on. They will most likely be ready to start eating soon and the mom will be weaning them soon. So put down moistened food and see what they do with it.
  4. um not sure u should check online but i think u can feed them puupy food but u should check on the food wht age u can feed ur puppy i hope i can help u with ur question
  5. chicken necks are the best just cut them up into small pcs
  6. boiled boneless chicken breast cut into tiny pieces then mixed with plain cooked white rice
  7. Try your hardest to get the puppy(s) eating from the mom the feed in the milk bottle just makes them fat.The mom's milk is best!
  8. go to your vet. Science diet makes a great starter food for pups/kittens. It comes in a case of 24. But, you can only but it from a vet. Put a little on your finger for them to taste & they'll eat like little pigs. I always used it w/my litters. k9's/24 yrs retired
  9. If the moms milk is not enough you can feed it puppies little champions in the yellowish pouch. you can get it at wal-mart
  10. Probably, mother's milk alone is fine, unless she's not feeding them. Newborns need to eat every few hours for the first few weeks. If you don't think they're getting enough from mother, Esbilac is a great formula to use. Your puppies are probably old enough to begin feeding them puppy food. You put the puppy food into a blender with water until it's liquid. Then you put the mixture in a bottle (you can enlarge the hole in the nipple) and start them out that way. Then, you gradually decrease the amount of water and start letting them lap it up from a bowl. However, before trying anything, you should consult your vet. He/she is the best person to advise you in this.
