What are the prices for Shih tzu puppies?

Preferably around 6 weeks old.

1. 6 weeks is too young!! leave that puppy with his mom!
2. If you get it from a responsible breeder it will be atleast 8 weeks old.....so I'm guessing you're looking at petstore puppies?? Bad idea....besides the initial price you will probably pay a lot of $$$$ due to health problems down the road. I noticed that you re-asked your question. Instead of 6 weeks you said 8-10!! That's great!! Good luck!!

4. the highest i've seen them go was for 1,000+.

Depends on where you are...in Ireland they are 380€ unregistered and 480€ registered. that works out at 568 canadian dollars for unregistered or 717 canadian dollars for a registered puppy. if you are in america irish prices would translate to 576 for a non-registered puppy and a registered puppy would translate to 728 dolllars. these are irish prices based on what i paid for my shih tzu at christmas. registered meaning with pure-bred papers. hope this gives you an idea although i am sure that they are cheaper everywhere else except here!!
6. 8 weeks is the right age to leave the mother and i got mine for 350 pure breed. And trust me they got the name some where because they are little shits.
