how much should i sell unpapered shih tzu puppies for?
i am up in the air with this one. i have heard so many prices. i am having them vet checked with shots and dew claws removed... reason for breeding was a puppy for my mother.. she lost her 14 year old shih tzu. for a pet. so i bred mine and i need to find forever homes for the other puppies. i am having my dog fixed after puppies have their forever homes.

- $50 and do a home visit. Shouldn't have bred them to begin with.
- Charge enough to cover your costs for the vet visit. Then, spay your female, please - and see if you can do a little volunteer work for a shelter, please.
- $300 to $400..... sell as Pets, non show dogs. Don't let the "haters" bother you!
- Look in the papers and see how much others are selling them in your area, add up the cost of vet bills, food and worming plus $60 for each pup on top. At least you will have made a profit not too cheap, people have to respect the pups and money always talks, bullshit walks. **
- Just enough to cover expenses ... vaccinations, ect. Also screen buyers & do home visits.
- They're going for about $300 in this area for vet checked unregistered puppies of any small breed. Mixed small breed puppies go for around $100 if they have been vet checked. Everyone around here wants small breed puppies. The animal shelter only has large breed adult dogs.
- Well depending on where you are I would love to have another Shih Tzu puppy. I had to have mine put to sleep last Oct. Because he had 11 sezures in 5 hours. I'm now ready to get another one. ( my dog was 8 years old and also a rescue dog) You can contact me @ kissiefur692000@yahoo.com
- Just enough to compensate for how all the expenses for breeding. I've seen unpapered shih tzu mixes sale for over $500, because they are some "hybrid" or something or just trying to make a quick buck. I'm sure they are great puppies if the parents are great family dogs. I wouldn't do it again though. But some breeders sell accidental dog breedings for about $100-200.
- Definately no more then $100. Without papers they are practically mutts.
