Anyone have Chihuahua puppies for sale in the Lexington/Louisville Kentucky area?

I am looking for a chihuahua puppy for sale? Female preferred, but male is great too. Thanks a ton! Thanks :] I have looked at many Shelter Sites and Rescue ones, too. I look almost everyday, Yet have not been able to find a young one that is good with other animals, See, I have a cat, too. I did have a dog, who recently got killed by three pit-bulls while out in our yard. I know about the puppy mills and such, I have several dog/chihuahua books, but thank you

1. Check out www.petfinder.com first to make sure there aren't any homeless ones for you to adopt. Also check out Chihuahua rescues, they rescue all aged chihuahuas. If you choose to buy a puppy please do NOT go to a pet store, as most get their dogs from puppy mills, which are big breeding farms where the dogs are poorly kept, never vaccinated, and under socialized. If you go to a breeder make sure you're going to a GOOD one, not one who's just trying to make a quick buck. Make sure you can see the mom (dad isn't necessary) and make sure they are living in good conditions. Usually, if someone doesn't want you to see the mom or living conditions, they have something to hide (obviously) so.. be careful!!!
