where do you get cheap maltese puppies?

i want an all white girl maltese puppy for 500 dollars or less

1. you can not get a puppy at a cheap price.sorry to let you down.
2. Only from a puppy mill.Buy a good one from a good breeder. It is a hard breed to kept groomed but if you don't mind you will be happy. Remember after you buy a dog, the maintenance is the same for cheap or for good dog.
3. You can get a puppy from a breed rescue or shelter for a very low amount of money. Go to www.petfinder.com and fill in your zip code and what kind of dog you want. If you dont' see a dog you want on there, try typing in Google "maltese rescue" and chances are you'll find what you're looking for. Do not go to pet stores, because most of the dogs from there are from puppy mills and the dogs there are usually cross bred (meaning the mom and son had puppies, etc... like incest) and the puppies usually have a variety of problems. Plus the people who run puppy mills and pet stores don't care about the dogs, only profit. Would you rather get a dog from a shelter or rescue (or a very good breeder) where the people care about the dogs, and spend time with them, or would you rather get your dog from some place where the dogs are extremely over priced, low quality, the people are shady and the poor puppy has a bunch of problems that won't be visible for 2 weeks, and when you find out it's problems YOUR going to be the one shelling out the money/?????..
4. Maltese pups are usually at least $1,000. (From reputable breeders). They are expensive... I've noticed females cost more. I miss mine. He died in Feb. :( They are wonderful dogs!
