How much do maltese puppies typically cost?

1. depends on where you get it. $ 250-650 most likely.
2. It depends on where you live. Around where I live in Canada $1,000+ for a pure bred.

4. I bought an AKC certified purebred Maltese for about $600 back in 1995 at the pet store. You may be able to do much better from a private owner.

9. Maltese are very expensive, usually. This is because female Maltese usually have to have c-section operations to have their babies. AKC registered Maltese easily $1000.00 each. Poorly bred ACA and other fake registrys about $600 - $800 Pet store $1200.00. Puppy Mill....$500
10. Any GOOD dog, (pure bred, from a reputable breeder) will be over $1000. The smaller they are, the more expensive they are. In Southern California, I see them go for $1500-$3500.
