1. Yahoo isn't the right place to find a dog that's a commitment for the next 10-15+ years The only people selling dogs on here, are going against community guidelines and are probably scams. 2. the first answer is one way to go but what I'd do is look in the yellow pages or on-line for a Boxer Dog Club or German Shepherd Dog Club & ring ask them for a list of reputable breeders. You want a dog without any genetic faults & the clubs would know the best breeders to buy from
3. Don't support puppy mills or breeders. Don't buy while pound puppies die! Go look at your local animal pound or a breed rescue organization. What is your lifestyle? Do you really want a puppy, with all the housebreaking chores and mess that goes with it? Or an older dog that would be grateful for a kind, loving, RESPONSIBLE home. And speaking of responsibility, do you have the financial resources to properly care for a dog? Too many people focus on the initial price of a dog without considering their lifestyle (do you work 8-10 hours a day and are gone?), or without considering the maintenance costs involved such as yearly vet checkups, teeth cleanings ($250), immunizations, etc. Think about it.
