Cross Breeds

How old are the boxer puppies before they open there eyes?

Public Comments

  1. I think all pups, regardless of breed, open their eyes at ten days.
  2. Eyes open in every breed between the 10th and 14th day. Eyes should be completely open by the 14th day. They cannot see well however until closer to 3 weeks old. Focusing and tracking and all that.
  3. Between one and two weeks. And when they open they are usually blue. Later they change colors.
  4. Puppies begin to open their eyes at around two weeks of age.
  5. most mammal babies in general take around 2 weeks, give or take, depending on if they were born early or late. if you ever have any that open their eyes too early or they are born with their eyes open, be sure to protect it from light until the appropriate amount of time has passed to avoid possible vision issues.
  6. Between 1 and 2 weeks. Usually around 10 days after birth. When the boxer first opens its eyes they are light blue but in the next couple of weeks they change to brown or black.
  7. Boxers are the best doggies! Good choice if your getting one!
