hmmm........you can never really tell it culd be 1-10 or even more ya never know! but when its well long enough a long if you wanted you culd go get her scanned and get the exact amount!
You are buying a pregnant Yorkie and know nothing about breeding them? Sound like trouble!! Least: 0 (alive, anyway) Most: probably 12 Better get on the phone with a responsible breeder to see if she can help you through this. Toy dogs have some pretty serious requirements during whelping and post whelping to make sure that everyone is fine. And have a $10000 limit on your credit card and a emergency vet on speed dial.
Buying a pregnant dog isn't the best idea in the world... Anyway, there is no set amount. It could be one, or it could be ten. As a rule, small dogs tend to have small litters. My guess is about 3 or 4.

why are you buying a pregnant yorkie? Trying to make money off the pups? I smell BYB in the making. don't buy/adopt any dog with a health condition if you can't properly take care of them or know what you are doing.
Another rocket scientist, why would you buy a pregnant yorkie when you know nothing about them, and don't say you do, you don't have a clue, do you know what breed the father is, do you know his size, do you know with a dog that small should go to a Vet ASAP and be scanned to see how many & the size, small breeds sometimes need a c-section, is it her 1st litter, if it is another problem, nature doesn't take care of everything if it's not and she had a c-section before, she will probably need another, and how much did you pay , they must me wonderful people to sell their pregnant yorkie, really attached to their pets
look these persons are stupid to tell you the truth you keep your pregnant dog give it love and feed it well and give it lots of attention and love and she'll have them fine people here are just trying to scare you.
