What is the average number of puppies a yorkie will have??

just wondering.....what is all the fuss about a yorkie having puppies??? Why is everyone so against it?

1. all depends how many times its been preganant! it shouldnt be preggo in the 1st place ,hopefully it has a responsible owner who will get it fixed.
2. I am going to go to my "happy place" and pretend that you are asking this question because you are curious and not because you have a pregnant yorkie and have no idea what you're doing. That being said, the average yorkie litter is 4 but I believe the record is 9 -- so you never know.
3. If you had a mentor for breeding, you'd get good answers from them. A mentor guides people through the process - the hip and eye checks, the breed ring stuff that you need to do to get titles, and so on. Please don't try it until you know what you're doing and your dog is a champion (a titled champion)
4. 1-4 puppies.
5. please dont breed! try and get a yorkie from the shelter. hlep eliminate backyard breeding!
