what is the average number of Yorkie puppies in the first breed?

1. Sorry, I don't understand your question. Do you want to know how many puppies are born in Yorkie litters? This is a great question to either ask your breeding mentor, or a reputable dog breeder. For such a small dog, the number of puppies will be small.
2. I am a veterinarian and i have seen yorkies have their first litter of 3-6. So i'd say probably 4 puppies.
3. My yorkie came from a litter of 6 and she just had a litter of 5. But Most yorkies for having such a small frame usually have 2-3.
4. If you have to ask, please don't breed... IF that's why you're asking. If you are breeding be sure to have money aside to take all puppies to the vet to be health screened and vaccinated before they go to a well-verified home. If you are breeding, it's up to the breeder to screen all possible owners and not just sell to anyone. If you are breeding is it for money or to promote a higher quality Yorkshire Terrier? thanks!
5. When my Yorkie had her first litter of puppies she had 3. Every yorkie is different some yorkies have 1 and some yorkies have 4. Size matters sometimes too. If you have a smaller yorkie the range is about 1-3 if you have a bigger yorkie the range is 1-5 or six. Hope this helps! :) ~Meghan~
