2. Check here for a list of breeders in NY from the Yorkshire Terrier Club http://www.ytca.org/breeder4.html#NY Please research even these breeders carfully to make sure you find a reputable breeder. You do indeed care if the dog is from a reputable breeder verses a BYB or petstore if you what a healthy dog rather than one riddled with genetically based medical problems
