English Bulldog puppies for adoption?

Hey, I was wondering if anybody in the Dallas, TX area has bulldog puppies for adoption. I would rather adopt then buy! Please no rude remarks!! :( I am really serious about this and have done my research on the breed. I work from home and have two cats in my home, so I can give the puppy plenty of attention...and playmates lol! In regards to not doing my research....I understand that some people call them just plain Bulldogs. However, there are French bulldogs, olde English bulldogs, English bulldogs and the rare Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog. Simply saying I want a bulldog could mean that I want any of those breeds....and I don't. I was just specifying what I want. Contrary to popular belief, some people do get bulldog pups that they find out they cant take care of. These people still charge money...and I am willing to pay. It's the point of taking an animal that somebody just wants to "get rid of".

1. Brittish Bulldogs are a lot of hard work to look after and they're one of the most expensive breeds of dog so it's unlikely anyone would just give them away (unless they know you). You can try your local animal shelter, but it's a million to one shot that they'll have puppies.
2. You have ****NOT**** done enough(or ANY?) "research" if you're calling the breed "english" or 'british" or any OTHER "modifier"!!! It's JUST *BULLDOG*!!!!! PERIOD! and are thinking you can"ADOPT"....bulldog pup prices *START* at $1500!!!!!
3. go to petfinder.com.....this is a site for rescue groups.....just enter your Zip code, and breed wanted, like Bulldog, and be AMAZED at how many great choices you have !!.....i recently adopted a Great Prenees mix from them, and my dog Sylvester is awesome !!.....check it out.....try it.....do a good deed.....adopt an English Bulldog today !!!.....good luck to you, in your search for an English Bulldog as a new pet !!!!.....most adoptions run between $ 50 to $ 200 maximum, for a wonderfull dog, who will be very happy to be your new pet !!!
