Is it possible?

- You need to check with your local zoning board. They can tell you if you are zoned for livestock, and - if so - what the minimum acreage per animal is, as well as what type of shelter you need to provide. Each locality is different - in some areas, you can just fence in some pasture, in other areas, you must have a barn or shelter. And never assume because someone else living near you has miniture horses that you can too - they might live just over the border of the zoning area, or they might have had them before new laws came into effect, and they were "grandfathered" to be allowed to keep their animals. Be sure you check before you get any - or else the animal control may have to take them away from you and fine you.
