1. My friend bought some from toys"r"us for about 30.00, and you can probably find some at amazon.com, because ebay has expensive breyer horses
2. You can get deals at eBay, you just have to dig through lots of listings. Let me suggest a reputable dealer as well. H and H often has sales, and they sell banged up models at a discount.
