How does the arabian horses head change from foal to adult?

Especially a 1 1/2 y/o to an adult, does it change that much at that age? Obviously it's body does but does the dip in their head? - Does it still continue to become less refined?

  1. At this age you should start seeing your horses head "drying out" it becomes more refined and their bone structure should start to pop. eyes will start looking bigger the cheek bones more prominent and the bulges under the jaw line will go down when teeth grow completely in. around 4 you get a very mature looking Arabian head.
  2. no they stay pretty much te same we have had a lot of arabian babies they fill out but the head stays the same have a great day
  3. I hate to say this, because I know lots of people are in love with Arabs...Why? Get a horse with a brain...
  4. any type of horses head will change if you are feeding them the wrong type of GRASS. (feed) please be very careful of this. it is not a normality there heads shouldnt change much. maybe u should check this out with a vet.
  5. They become more refined "dry". "Dish" is what you refer to as "the dip" and "Jibba" is the "bump".
