Are there any Wild Horses left in the world?

I mean entirely untouched by humans, havnt even seen them before, and if so how many? approximate thousands, plus is it cruel that humans have adapted and tamed sooo many horses? aND Where do they reside? whats their habitat like?

1. We have wild horses on the mountains near us. Some have seen humans but maybe not all. They have longer heads and bigger nostrils and aren't as big as domestic horses. I couldn't tell you how many there are. I am in North Wales (U.K) The habitat is mountainous and they eat grass, heather and drink water. There isn't much shelter as such but the mountains dip here and there and that must provide them with shelter. There are also sheep and sheep shelters which I suppose the horses share from time to time...
2. There are thousands of wild horses in outer Mongolia and we have them here on Dartmoor.
