Can you recommend a factual book about wild horses?

I need a book on the way horses behave in the wild. Most good horse books have a page or two on the subject, but I haven't yet found a book dedicated to the natural behaviour and lifestyle of our equine friends. It's for my sister, who's birthday is coming up. she is mostly interested in the mustangs of America.

1. Any book written by Desmond Morris will be factual and fascinating. He also wrote a book (The Naked Ape) that studied people the way he has studied animals.
2. Desmond Morris is a little simplistic. If your sister is a new rider she will probably like it, but I would instead recommend Horse Behavior by George H. Waring. It's much more technical. Also the American Mustang Guidebook by Lisa Dines is good if you want to "armchair mustang watch".
