  1. There are wild horses all over the world in large mostly undeveloped regions
  2. We have lots of them here in Nevada. This is a high desert with sagebrush.
  3. assateauge island off coast of WV. Places with little or no humans.
  4. There are some wild horses near my parents' ranch in Idaho. They see them sometimes in the sagebrush foothills. The horses live on mountain grasses and find water in run-off streams and the reservoirs and mountain lakes. Most of the mountain ranges are owned by the government. The ranchers own grazing rights and can put cattle up in the mountains in the summers, but there's still enough grass for the horses. I like the idea that there are still actually some wild horses roaming about, unaffected with modern ways.

  10. I live here in a rural town in Wyoming. All of the mustangs baisically are on the BLM land. This land consists of sage brush, occasional creeks, lots of Mountains/hills, dirt, and some grass. In fact I own a mustang and she was on the BLM land in Oregon. Occasionaly you will see mustangs eating off the small bits of grass they can find.
