How do I get 12 year old Siamese cat to stop attacking my new small 2 year old Bengal cat?

My 12 year old siamese cat loves people but not other cats. We brought home a 2 year old bengal about 1 1/2 months ago. The 12 year old attacks the bengal at least 5 times a days even when the bengal is sleeping. I do not want to use drugs at all to fix this problem. Do you have a suggestions to help?

  1. you should put the two different types of cats in different rooms. You should watch them if they come close to each other and make sure they don't fight!
  2. Hmm maybe they just wont get along. But i think eventualy they will probly get to know each other, maybe you could hold one cat and have them near each other, maybe in the bathroom or sotmhing with you in there so you can stop them if they stop fighting. Gl i know my cat will never get along with any other cats xD
  3. It depends. I brought in a new male cat last year, and he is still attacking the female. And since they are different breeds, it is hard to say. I would call a vet in the morning and see what they say to make sure you get an accurate answer!!!
  4. you can look at them while there being contained and put them together see how they react or ask your vet
  5. ok.... here's the thing: siamese cats are not generally NICE cats. they are known for their viscious streak, so you definitely have a problem. what i would do is keep them both in LARGE cages or rooms, somewhere where they can see each other but not get to each other. after a while they should get 2 know each oyther better. have you spoken 2 ur vet about it? they always have real good ideas.
