Why do Bengal Cats cost so much and is there a way to just adopt one?

- Pure bred cats are always expensive. Try searching for a Bengal Cat rescue through a search engine, or visiting Petfinder.com and searching by breed.
- check to see if there is a bengal rescue,If not check your local animal shelter.Cats saved are the nicest sweethearts! We came across a berma they are a trippy breed. He was used for breeding and got out due to abuse, now he is the happiest little guy makes my life so much better.
- Often your local humane society or other rescue group will take requests for a particular breed. Check with them first. You can also search for a Bengal cat rescue organization near you. Remember, it's better to adopt a cat than buy from a breeder--you're saving a life rather than contributing to companion animal overpopulation! Most rescue organizations will charge you something (usually between 50 and 150 dollars) to adopt an animal so they can cover their costs of housing and providing medical care (vaccines, spay/neuter) for the animal. This is a resonable charge; don't let it deter you from adopting vs. buying.
