Are bengal cats good pets?

I just recently learned of the bengal cat breed. I am very interested in buying one. How much can I expect to pay? Do you know of any good breeders? Is there any reason I shouldn't buy one?

1. I don't know any breeders, but I did have a half bengal cat and she was the best cat I have ever had. They are very devoted family oriented cats and she had so many fun characteristics. For a pure bengal you are looking at about $400 or more. Good luck on your search....
2. I believe they are too dangerous, especially if you have children. Go with a house cat they are also low maintenance and cn be loads of fun if trined properly while they are very young
