Cross Breeds

Do Bengal cats make good pets? How about Ragdolls?

I have 2 other cats. I don't want a shy cat that will hide under the bed all day. I also want one that gets along with other cats. Do they shed much?

  1. Both are considered very friendly cat breeds. I don't have either breed but I'm looking around for one next year. Shedding? Yes, it is a good idea to brush either of these breeds weekly to eliminate extra hair with a deshedding tool Goes for any breed of cat too...
  2. Bengals are WONDERFUL cats and the best pets! I am in love with the breed for many reasons. First of all, you'll rarely find a shy or timid Bengal and they rarely hide under beds. They do play under beds, especially at 3 am, but that's different... They also like water (most of the time. I had one that didn't like water at all) Bengals are very active cats, even as they age, so be aware that while sweet and loving, they aren't ones to sit around in your lap all day and purr. They do like high places and should have at least a 6 foot cat tree to climb. They are very smart and can be taught to do tricks as well as walk on harnesses. My Bengal Kaidyn loves to ride in his baby stroller and even has a baby swing he likes to sleep in.
